Jaspal Gaddy was born and raised in the small town of Gridley, CA. She went on to California State University, Chico where she earned her BA and teaching credential in Liberal Studies in 2000. She has been teaching ever since. She taught four years in Oroville before moving to her husband's hometown of Redding, where she has been teaching since 2004. Mrs. Gaddy is the 6th grade Language Arts/History Core teacher, the Junior High Student Government Advisor, and is the Junior High Cross Country Coach and Assistant Track Coach at U-Prep.
Jaspal has been married to Nathan, an amazing husband and father since 2001. They have two adorable daughters, Grace and Emma, and a little boy, Noah. She enjoys playing Ultimate Frisbee, running, hiking, biking, traveling, taking pictures, scrap booking, and above all spending time with her family. Mrs. Gaddy is enjoying teaching at U-Prep and all the excitement and energy that go along with junior high.
Christi Isheim grew up in Sacramento, California. She graduated from St. Leo University and earned her teaching credential from California State University of Chico in 2009 with a multiple subject credential. She began her teaching career in Shasta Lake, California where she taught 5th grade. She began teaching at U-Prep in 2014 teaching 6th Grade Core and Prep Latin.
Christi moved to Redding in 2004 with her husband, Loren (who is often found on the U-Prep Varsity Softball and Baseball fields) and her three children Bond, Alex, and Sami. Bond graduated in 2013 attending all 7 years at UPrep and is now currently in his senior year at UC Davis studying mechanical and aerospace engineering. Alex is now in her senior year here at UPrep and Sami her freshman year. In Christi’s free time she enjoys traveling to new places, reading, visiting Bond at UC Davis and watching her girls play sports.
Noah Mock joined U-Prep in the spring of 2013 as a member of the 6th Grade Core Team. He previously taught for 5 years in Belmont, CA. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Music and Recording Arts from Chico State, and after a few years working in the Music Industry, he decided to pursue a more fulfilling career in teaching. He went on to earn his Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential from Notre Dame de Namur University. Mr. Mock is excited for another year of teaching at U-Prep. Along with 6th grade Core subjects, Mr. Mock will be teaching Guitar and Music Production.
When Noah is not busy entertaining his wife Paloma, son Landon (6), and daughter Harper (4), he can be found working in his garden or cooking in the kitchen. His greatest passion, which his wife would say borders on an unhealthy obsession, is writing and recording music. He also enjoys playing disc golf, basketball, hiking, and kayaking on Whiskeytown. He looks forward coming to work every day to share his love of life and learning with his students.
